Do you like sleeping with music or beats playing? But can never enjoy it because of those bulky headphones that poke into your ear? You’re not alone. And with these AcousticSheep SleepPhones, you can listen to anything you want without any problem.
Almost everyone has a tough time sleeping. And one of the easiest ways to solve that is with a relaxing soundtrack that lulls you to sleep.
But here’s the problem…
Ordinary earphones are terrible in bed. In fact, most are terrible in general. Just think of the ones you use now.
If they’re earbuds, chances are they don’t fit securely. Or worse, they don’t fit comfortably.
And if they’re overhead headphones, they’re just too bulky to ever sleep with them on.
But when you have a pair of SleepPhones, you won’t have to deal with any discomfort because the speakers on these are specially made to be super thin. So thin that you can even sleep on your side without waking up with a terrible earache.
Now, before I show you everything about the AcousticSheep SleepPhones, you need to know this…
If you use earbuds while you sleep, you know how horrible they are. Or if you think otherwise, then you just haven’t experienced the side effects yet…
First, you’re forced to sleep lying on your back, head straight, as if you’re stuck in a coffin. Because if you dare turn your head, the earbud will dig deep into your ear cavity. And guess what happens when you wake up?
That’s right! A painful soreness around the entire side of your head.
Imagine waking up and trying to start your day like that…
Second, the wires get tangled up. Not only is this a death hazard (although extremely unlikely), but you’re at greater risk of ripping your headphones apart.
Sure, you can buy a wireless Bluetooth headset, but let’s be honest here, are you actually going to try and wear them during sleep? It’s no different from regular corded earbuds. You’ll still have to deal with the pain and irritation.
So earphones, wireless headsets, and overhead headphones all don’t work. What about the radio, stereo, TV, etc.? Can you listen to that?
You sure can!
But don’t get too excited yet.
Because if you share your bed with your partner, and play the radio or TV at night, you can expect them to tell you to shut it down.
But if they don’t mind, then that’s great! You have nothing to worry about (except the dangers of blue light from your TV — but that’s another topic).
However, if you know your partner is going to be annoyed, you’re in for some trouble.
Luckily, the AcousticSheep SleepPhones allows you to enjoy all the music you want without having to disturb anyone else.

AcousticSheep has several different models of SleepPhones. This review will specifically be covering the SleepPhones Classic — the first one that was ever made.
The SleepPhones are the most bed-friendly headphones you’ll ever wear. With a clever design, comfort will be the last thing on your mind when you wear these. What you’ll be most concerned about is what song will play next.
There is something else you should take notice of as well…
The SleepPhones Classic is corded. And remember I said if you sleep with wires, you’ll be in for some trouble?
Well the same is true here, but you’re at far LOWER risk of damaging the wire. And here’s why: the cord is 4 feet long!
Slightly longer than your average headphone. And because the SleepPhones are protected inside a soft, luxurious fleece headband, you don’t have to worry about earphones snapping out of your ear. And if you didn’t know, that’s when all the tangling of wires happens.
With the headband design of the SleepPhones, it’ll almost never slip off. Of course, this depends on how messy of a sleeper you are. But in most cases, these stay on throughout the entire night.
AcousticSheep SleepPhones is nothing more than a headphone in a headband. Using it is super easy.
On the back of the headband is a velcro opening. This is where you can access the headphones. The headphones are a special kind. Unlike regular ones, these are extremely flat, and simply lay on top of your ear, instead of sticking IN your ear.
Plus, as you can see above, the headphones are color-coded and padded (in addition to the headband padding already).
Red is right and green is left. And the white pad? That’s to hold the wire together for extra protection. And everything goes right inside the headband. Except, of course, the wire to connect to your device. Any excess wire can be stuffed inside though.
Here’s a video by AcousticSheep themselves, showing you what’s inside, and how to put it back in:
Simple isn’t it?
Now, when you place this around your head, just adjust the headphones until it sits comfortably beside your ear. Then, play one of your favorite songs to experience its amazing, crisp sound quality.
Covering almost your entire ear, these are similar to listening to overhead earphones. Except, these are not noise-cancelling, and they’re not supposed to be in the first place.
Although you can blast music to close out background noise (not recommended), the SleepPhones was designed so you can enjoy audio while STILL being able to hear your fire alarm in case of an emergency.
But these special headphones aren’t all there is to it…
The headband makes using SleepPhones a comfortable experience. There’s two hypoallergenic materials you can choose from:
Fleece is exactly what it is. It’s soft, fluffy, and cozy. Perfect for keeping your ears warm during the cold.
While the Breeze on the other hand, is the opposite. It’s still soft and smooth, but this one is thin and lightweight — designed for people who live in warmer climates.
Despite the differences in fabrics, both headbands are easily machine washable (machine wash warm, tumble dry medium). Just don’t forget to remove the headphones before doing so.
Acoustic SleepPhones is your best bet when it comes to in-bed headphones. With its flat padded headphones for nearly “invisible” wearing, and soft flexible headbands for extra comfort, there’s nothing else as easy and simple to use as SleepPhones.
Although it is corded and can be a potential problem, what you get in return is no need for charging!
Whereas for the SleepPhones Wireless, you need to charge it for 3 hours to get full battery.
Now, you can listen to music, binaural beats, white noise, ASMR, nature sounds, audiobooks, etc., all while lying comfortably in your bed, until you relax into a deep sleep.
And when you wake up, you’ll feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and free from any earaches.
Don’t waste another second…
A good night’s sleep is just a strap of a headband away.
